MedDiet introduction within the Capitalization event to present 8 ENPI CBC projects to the new Egyptian government at Alexandria Chamber of Commerce, 15.9.2013
The Alexandria Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with CEEBA hosted the re-launch of 8 EU funded regional projects worth LE 260 million ($37.7 million) covering the tourism industry, food industry, waste management, solar energy, nutrition and textile industry expressing its commitments to the targeted area of Alexandria.
The projects were presented to the ministers of international cooperation and scientific research, the Governor of Alexandria, the Ambassador of the EU and representatives of the 28 EU member states.
These projects seek to bolster and modernize food, textile and tourism industries as well as the fields of solar energy, environment and schools. They will also help exchange experiences and create partnerships with Mediterranean countries as well as attract investments and modern technology and develop exports.
The EU-funded ENPI CBC project MedDiet aims to enhance the diet of schools kids and consumers towards healthy, traditional and Mediterranean food.
